Challenge advance registration closes tomorrow!

Wedneday, June 20 is the last day to register in advance for the Rachel Carson Trail Challenge. See the Challenge 2007 page for a link to the active.com registration site. After tomorrow, you may only register on-site at the Beaver Shelter in North park, beginning at 5 AM on June 23 and the fee will be $75 cash or check (no credit cards).

The 34-mile event is very close to selling out. If that happens, your only option is to wait on standby Saturday morning until we start re-issuing the slots of the no-shows.

If you plan to register on-site for the Family Challenge, you will need to do this at North Park (even though the hike begins in Emmerling Park) between 6 AM and 7 AM. The on-site fee is $85 for up to 5 family members, cash or check only.
