Baileys Run Rd Reroute Project
This Sunday, May 14th (Not Saturday!)
This workday is has been moved from Saturday, May 13th, to Sunday, May 14th.
Due to heavy truck traffic on Baileys Run Road in Creighton, PA, we are moving the trail off the road and into the woods as much as possible. Please join us this Sunday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m. for the following tasks:
- Add two steps on the first section, specifically on the turns.
- Weed-whack the large, flat area (aka: coal mine area)
- Add signage/blazes
- Block off the old trail
Where do I park? You have two options:
- There is a small lot on Baileys Run Road, near the Days Run intersection. Space is limited here; please park 'head in' and as closely as possible to the other cars so we can maximize the number of cars. Directions to parking #1: click here
- There is a larger gravel 'pull off' further along on Baileys Run Road, closer to the worksite. Directions to parking #2: click here. Space is limited; as mentioned above, please park as closely as possible to other cars to maximize space.
Please arrive ready work with appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring water and snacks for your own needs. All tools and supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own tools.
