Saturday, August 29th, is the 22nd annual Baker Trail UltraChallenge, a 50-mile race that can be tackled solo or as part of a relay team. Whether you're registered for the race or not, join us on Sunday, July 26, for an all-paces training run on the race course, which starts in Leeper, PA, adjacent to Cook Forest.
If you plan to attend this training run, click here to sign up. Once you sign up, you will receive an email a day or two before the run with important details.
Picking up where we left off from training run #1, we'll cover the next 15 miles of this year’s course, complete with one or two aid stations to help you fine-tune your hydration and nutrition strategies plus familiarize you with the course.
The training run is a 15-mile point-to-point run. Logistics are as follows:
- Date: Sunday, July 26
- Meet-up time: 7:30 a.m.
- Meet-up location: Snyder Road (click here for directions) We will leave a few cars at the Synder Road location and carpool to the starting point of our run, which is Gravel Lick Road.
- Run starts at 8:00 a.m. from Gravel Lick Road. (click here for directions)
The aid station chart on the Participant Page shows our start and finish points and other useful information (e.g. surfaces and elevation).
